Formed late 2009 in Los Angeles, California, Twitching Tongues brings a style of metal and rock infused hardcore not often heard in today's modern scene. Influenced by the likes of Type O Negative, Only Living Witness, Black Sabbath, Sam Black Church, Agents of Man and Section 8, the band finds a way to maintain originality and showcase their own vastly unique sound. Featuring past and present members of such local powerhouses as Ruckus, Creatures, and Alpha & Omega.

ISR signs European deal for new Trapped Under Ice album

I Scream Records and Reaper Records, Trapped Under Ice's US based label, have inked a deal for the release of the new TUI album in Europe, later this year.
Trapped Under Ice will start recording their new full length, entitled "Big Kiss Goodnight", in June which will be produced Chad Gilbert, of New Found Glory, and engineered by Paul Miner (ex Death By Stereo) who has worked with H2O, Terror and Ignite, to name of few.

I Scream Records signs deal with Murphy's Law

After years of the entire Murphy's Law catalog being unavailable, we're very proud to announce that I Scream Records will re-releasing the complete discography:
"Murphy's Law" (originally released in 1986), "Back with a Bong" (originally released in 1989), "The Best of Times" (originally released in 1991), "Dedicated" (originally released in 1996) and "The Party's Over" (originally released in 2001). Each re-issued album will feature previously unreleased bonus tracks, new artwork and will be available on CD, digitally (for the first time ever) as well on full length vinyl. Prior to each street date we'll offer a few limited pre-order bundles containing the CD, a limited 7", t-shirts and much more.
As if this wasn't great enough by itself, all these re-releases are leading up to the release of a long-awaited new Murphy's Law studio album, which will be hitting stores worldwide in 2011.
In a day & age where faux-hawks & eyeliner are sadly enough considered to be the new hardcore generation by some, it's time for Murphy's Law to set the record straight!!!!

I Scream Records signs Swedish Punk Rockers Twopointeight.

Founded in 2003, Twopointeight have managed to create a style of their own. A great blend of punk & rock hailed by many of their peers as a unique.
Their self-titled 2003 debut, which was recorded and produced by Randy´s Johan Gustavsson, has been extremely well received and the track “Redeye” immediately got picked up by Scandinavian radio and TV.

The long-awaited follow up, "Twopointeight II", was recorded in the course of 2009 & 2010 and once again the band decided to work with Johan Gustavsson at the legendary Gröndahl Studios. Their sound has evolved even more and with gritty guitars backed up by big drums “Twopointeight II” is an album any punk rocker, or music lover, needs to grab.

After a very successful European Tour in December 2010, as part of the 2010 Persistence Tour with Sick Of It All, Unearth Official, Evergreen Terrace and more, Blood For Blood announces that they'll be performing at the New England Metal Fest on April 15th in Worcester, MA, which is the bands first US show in over 6 years.
A few days after this long-awaited US show Blood For Blood will kick off a short European run including a performance at Belgium's Groezrock Festival on April 23rd. Blood For Blood will be joined by Crushing Caspars and My City Burning.

Founded in 2009, War Hound out of the Chicago land suburbs, have unleashed a new flavor of hardcore upon Chicago and the rest of the world. Heavily influenced by bands like Crown of Thornz, Breakdown and Madball, they recently finished recording their debut EP "For The Hounds". This 11 minute debut, also including a Crown Of Thornz cover "Love Sick", caught the attention of I Scream Records and only a few weeks later War Hound and I Scream Records signed a deal.

Life Of Agony performs for MTV's Headbangers Ball

Yesterday, Monday December 6th 2010, Life Of Agony was invited by MTV2 for an exclusive in-studio performance, and interview, for Headbangers Ball's: "The Year in Metal". The band performed the classics "Underground" and "Through & Through" and one of these performances will air on Headbangers Ball, on MTV2, on Saturday December 18th 2010, at midnight.

In the meantime the band is flying out to Europe this week to perform 3 exclusive shows during the upcoming weekend:

Rob Lind speaks out about the reunited Blood For Blood. An official statement.

This week, on Thursday December 3rd, Blood For Blood is kicking off their, long awaited, European Tour, as part of the 2010 Persistence Tour. This will mark the first time since 2004 that Blood For Blood fans have been able to see the band live on stage. As previously announced by the band on June 19th 2010 (statement hereunder), Rob Lind decided not to join the rest of the band and Billy Graziadei, from Biohazard, will be filling in for him.

Today Rob Lind wants to share this official statement about not joining Blood For Blood (for now), the future of the band and his relationship with his band mates:
Hello there children!
It's been long time...
A few months ago it was announced in the press that Blood For Blood would be touring again. Specifically it was announced that BFB would be doing this years annual Persistence Tour in Europe (with Sick Of It All, D.R.I., Unearth, Evergreen Terrace and others). It was also announced that Blood For Blood would be doing this tour and future shows without me.
In absence of a response or statement on my part, there was an immediate deluge of speculation, invective and hostility in reaction to the announcement online and in the scene. And it is ongoing.
With the Persistence Tour looming and Blood For Blood's return to the stage imminent, I just wanted to clarify my position and set the record straight.
First let me say that I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support on my behalf. I have never been more sincere in my whole fucking life: it meant more to me than anything that has happened since I started playing music. I will never forget it as long as I live.
However the controversy was misguided and any negativity misplaced. I have been working with Buddha and Ian for the last few months now on the future of Blood For Blood and it has been an open and amicable relationship. The core of Blood For Blood has always been our friendship within the band.
I cannot tour at this point in my life. I hope to be able to again in the future but at present it is simply not possible for personal reasons that I will not get into. I miss it very much (believe me, I would like nothing more than to be getting up on stage with the guys in a few days for the tour's first show).
But my inability to tour doesn't alter the fact that Blood For Blood has an enduring legacy and demand. And the fellas in the band miss it all as much as I do.
After a few months of open dialogue and discussion we (Buddha, Ian, and I) have decided on an arrangement that is best for us all.
Though I stated I can't play out and tour right now, I am not done with music by a long shot. Nor am I done with Blood For Blood. Blood For Blood will always be a part of me and I will always be a part of Blood For Blood. And the show isn't over...
The band, with my full support and blessing and friendship, is going to tour again without me until the time comes when I can join them again on the road. This was the plan all along and that had been in the works for a while now. We just had to work out some internal details before I could jump in openly and publicly.
This is not a tentative or half-hearted arrangement. We intend to continue the band on all fronts. We intend to record again. We intend to play out and tour again (as I stated above, I will join in live whenever possible). And we are psyched about every bit of it.
On a side note, I have never at any point over the past few years stopped writing music (either for Blood For Blood or any of my other projects). Consequently I am presently hoarding the biggest glut of material in my life. And I can't wait to get to work on it.
So even though I won't physically be there on stage with the guys, I will be there whole-heartedly in spirit as a member of the band. Blood For Blood is back, bitches! I bet club security all over the world is weeping and hiring extra help and taking out better health care policies on their employees!

The entire European Skarhead tour is now cancelled.

Here's the official statement:
Last week Skarhead announced that they were forced to cancel the first couple of shows of the upcoming European Summer tour.
Now opposed to the "statement" sent out by the booking agency, which is not an official statement by the band, Skarhead would like to clarify a few things.
This tour wasn't cancelled "due to a couple of cancelations", nor to "logistical problems". The only show that got cancelled was set for July 18th in Paris, France (also being the last show of the tour).
It actually seems that someone "forgot" that, in order for a US band to play Europe, the band members need to get on a plane.

In any case we can tell you that the band, in collaboration with their management & label, did everything in their power to try and salvage this great European run. After a very successful run earlier this year in March, the entire band was extremely excited to go back to Europe, play shows and see all of you amazing European fans again.

The entire band has been on stand-by for more than a week in New York City for nothing, wasting time and risking losing jobs, so we fully understand your frustration and therefor want to apologize to all the Skarhead fans who were looking forward seeing us. There's probably no need to explain how sad and upset we are about this tour being cancelled, especially at such a last minute notice...

Skarhead is currently working on a Fall tour and we'll make sure to post these dates as soon as possible.

Official statement from Blood For Blood about the upcoming tour

First off, we would like to thank all our fans for hanging in there over the last six long years. As of December 2010 Blood for Blood will embark on our first tour since 2004. Blood for Blood has agreed to join the Persistence Tour in Europe sharing a stage with long time friends Sick of it All as well as other acts soon to be announced.
The decision to play again was not an easy one to make. Over the last few years we have tried time and time again to contact Rob about a possible Blood for Blood reunion, but he has ignored every single attempt we have made. Therefore, we were left with no other choice but to find someone else to fill in for his BFB responsibilities. Now, let’s make this perfectly clear: we have no ill will towards Rob whatsoever. We wish him well and Blood for Blood will always be open to him.
That being said, we were left with the conundrum of finding a fill-in for Rob. After some careful thought we believe we found a perfect fill-in. We are pleased to announce that Billy Graziadei of Biohazard will be joining Blood for Blood on stage for Persistence Tour 2010.
Again thanks for all the countless emails and support letters from all our fans over the years. We are looking forward to seeing all your ugly faces again.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and matters beyond the band's control, we are all very sad to announce that the first couple of shows of the European Skarhead tour, which was supposed to start tomorrow June 18th 2010, are now officially cancelled.
Needless to say the band is extremely disappointed and want to apologize to all the fans who were looking forward seeing Skarhead.
Everybody is currently doing everything in their power to get the band to Europe as soon as possible.
We'll hopefully have a kick off day before the end of this week, and will get back to you asap with more news.

I Scream Records signs worldwide deal with My City Burning

Founded in the Summer of 2006, MCB’s drive has garnered the band a solid following and amazing live-reputation. Their 2008 self-produced and self-released demo EP “White Lies, Black Eyes” definitely threw My City Burning's name out there. This debut EP was extremely well received in magazines and e-zines everywhere. The Dutch magazine OOR said "It growls, bites and hurts in all the right places" while Asice.net said "Old school hardcore and thrash metal sound like two very different styles of heavy music, but this Dutch band incorporates them into one solid sound." and musicfrom.nl wrapped it up with "A debut with an impact I don't encounter very often"
"Lone Wolves" is set for release on August 23rd 2010. This long-awaited follow up to their debut EP was produced by Kristian 'Kohle' Kohlemannslehner, known for his work with bands like A Traitor Like Judas, Crematory and Final Prayer to name of few.

The Skarhead video got age restricted by Youtube

Yesterday, January 13th, the new Skarhead video got flagged by the YouTube community. It seems that the "booties" are to explicit for anyone younger then 18 years old.
So in order to view the video you now need to sign in and tell them you're 18 and over (and if you're not just say you are).
You can also view the video without any age verification anywhere someone used the HTML codes and embedded the video on their page(s).
Looking at what else is available on Youtube for anyone to see we find this decision very disapointing. Sadly enough Youtube LLC & the Google corporation don't have any costumer support and therefor independent companies or independent artists can't even fight such restrictions.

I Scream Records signs worldwide deal with Incite

We are very excited to welcome Incite to the I Scream Records family.
Incite from Phoenix, AZ, was founded by Richie Cavalera in 2004 and have put a lot of hard work in the past 5 years. By extensive touring in both North America and Europe Incite has begun building a solid fanbase and are on their way to become part of a new generation of inovators in the metal scene.
They're self released EP, "Divided We Fall", sold out in only a few months and the track "Army Of Darkness" even ended up in the Sirius Metal Charts.
"The Slaughter", the bands full length debut, was produced by Logan Mader (Devildriver, Divine Heresy, Cavalera Conspiracy) and is set for release in North America on October 20th and will hit stores on November 2nd in Europe.
Incite is set for a full North American tour in the fall of 2009 before heading back out to Europe in early 2010.

I Scream Records signs deal for the European release of the new Death By Stereo album.

I Scream Records signed a deal with Serjical Strike Records, Death By Stereo's new label, for the release of "Death Is My Only Friend", in Europe.
Laurens Kusters says: "We're extremely excited to have Death By Stereo join our, ever growing, European roster."
Since their inception in 1998, Death By Stereo has been balancing consciousness and chaos with their unique genre-bending amalgam of hardcore, metal and punk.
"Death Is My Only Friend", The band's 5th studio album, was produced & recorded by Jason Freese (Green Day, Jewel, Goo Goo Dolls) and mixed by Jay Baumgardener (Linkin Park, Evanesance). "Death is My Only Friend" finds the band’s sound venturing into uncharted musical waters and they have created the biggest sounding DBS record to date.
"We are excited to be at our new home at I Scream Records for our European release. Europe has always been important for us and we can't wait to come back over." ads the band.

European release date for "Death Is My Only Friend" is set for October 5th.

A statement from our good friends Backfire!
BACKFIRE! 1994 – 2009: The story ends.
After 15 awesome years of making music, writing songs, touring, hard work, dedication en most of all tons of fun and laughs Backfire! is closing the book.
We are grateful that we had the chance to play and tour as much as we did and we will always remember what we've got back from all of you people worldwide for so many years.
It was one of the hardest decisions in our lives but we think it's time to take different directions and keep the memories of this band alive as they are now, that is the best we could have asked for, there's no other way.
Thinking of the friends we've made during the years makes us feel proud and blessed, the friends we've lost are still with us in our minds and memories.
Thank you all so much for letting us do what we did, helping us and believing in us.

Wisdom In Chains signs worldwide deal with I Scream Records

I Scream Records is very excited & proud to welcome Wisdom In Chains to the ISR family.
Founded in early 2003, as a musical collaboration between musicians from both America and Europe, Wisdom In Chains have put their mark on the American and European hardcore, punk and Oi! scene. Richie & Mad Joe, who at the time both were in Krutch ("Whatever It Takes" released on I Scream Records in 2002) started Wisdom In Chains with Maarten from the Dutch band Daredevil and today, five years, 3 studio albums and some members changes later, Wisdom In Chains are recording a brand new album this summer which will see a worldwide release this fall.

I Scream Records welcomes The Last Resort

The Last Resort joins I Scream Records for the release of their long overdue and highly anticipated new studio album "You'll Never Take Us".
Formed in 1980 in South London, The Last Resort are, together with Cockney Rejects, The 4 Skins and The Business considered one of the leading Oi! bands and an absolute legacy.

Oi! kingpin Gary Bushell wrote: "The Last Resort are a skinhead band from South London via Herne Bay, Kent. Based around the Last Resort shop in Petticoat Lane, East London and financed by the shop’s owner Michael French. They too saw Oi! as being bigger than just for skins".

“Oi! is about uniting punks, skins and everyone”. growler Millwall Roi told Sounds in their first interview ever.

"You'll Never Take Us" is set for release on May 8th 2009 in Europe and on June 23rd in the USA. The Last Resort will perform at all relevant European festivals after which they'll head out to the US again. The current line-up consists of Jonesy on drums, former Anti-Nowhere League members JJ Kaos on bass and Beef on guitar of course alongside of Roi.

I Scream Records schedules an Anthology release from Discipline

Discipline, the undefeated kings of European Street Rock!!

In 1999 Discipline and I Scream Records joined forces to start a collaboration that would propel Discipline into becoming one of the biggest European Street Rock bands of the last decade, even outselling some of their own musical heroes. Since, the bands has released 4 studio albums, numerous EP's, a live split with Agnostic Front, the 2008 cover album "Old Pride, New Glory" and a first compilation of tracks released, in 2003, in collaboration with Captain Oi! Records.

Today 10 years after the first release for I Scream Records we're are very proud to announce the release of the Discipline Anthology album. A double CD, with 28 of some of Discipline's best tracks released, for the US market only. A musical recap from the undefeated kings of European street-rock for the price of 1 CD.

This summer they're finally also back on tour in the USA, playing the BnB Bowl (formerly known as the Superbowl Of Hardcore) on May 30th in Brooklyn, NY after which they'll embark on an East Coast Tour with Stigma and special guests.

Skarhead and I Scream Records ink worldwide deal

We are very excited to announce the signing of Skarhead for the release of their long awaited new record "Drugs, Music and Sex".

Skarhead was founded in 1995 by Lord Ezec and released the EP "Drugs, Money, Sex" that same year.
In 1999 their follow up album, "Kings At Crime" took the worldwide hardcore scene by storm and instantaneously became one of the all time classic hardcore records.

Today 10 years after the release of "Kings At Crime" Lord Ezec is back as frontman of the worlds most infamous hardcore bands.
"Drugs, Music and Sex" is recorded and mixed by Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, Madball, Agnostic Front) and produced by Lord Ezec. The album features guest appearances by some of hardcore's greatest such as Freddy Cricien, CIV, Jorge Rosado, Jamey Jasta, Armand & Craig from Sick Of It All, Vinnie Stigma and more.

The album is currently being mixed and set for release late Summer 2009.

Hoods founded in Sacramento, CA, in 1995 by Mike Hoods have grown into a Hardcore institution. Their music is a call to arms for all of those who have grown tired watching Hardcore be exploited and bastardized. Mike Hood has used his years of experience to craft one of the most brutal and honest West Coast Hardcore bands ever.
Hoods have released several albums on a number of independents and now the long-awaited new album "Pit Beast" is set for release in May 2009.
